No health insurance needed: you do not need to have medical insurance to receive a test. Anyone can get tested with CHIP and everyone gets the test for free.
What information do you need?: only as much as you want to give us. We ask everyone who is getting an HIV test to complete a quick questionnaire that asks for your name, date of birth and a range of lifestyle questions. This is to help our HIV testing counselors make the session as personal to you as possible. All tests are confidential. If you do not want to provide any of this information you do not need to, and you can still get a test.
